(February 27th, 2010 - Toronto ON) Pointe Claire is a quiet community located on that part of the island of Montreal known as"the West Island. The show was granted an Fine Arts Talent Scholarship to attend York University's Theatre Program and graduated from the program in 2000, earning a Bachelor's of Fine Arts. Over the past 20 years, her roles in the world of television and on the screen have been varied. The role of Rita in the award-winning show The Handmaid's Tale was her most notable. Brugel played the role of Rita in The Handmaid's Tale, a series that was filming over 10 years ago.
